The Blunderbuss is a weapon that is less advanced than the musket, but more advanced than the bow with a standard arrow. However, it is the most powerful short-range weapon. It is a decent firearm and a powerful one.

Blunderbuss

The blunderbuss is a firearm, but has a few drawbacks compared to the bow and the musket. The bow shoots much faster and the musket has the ability to do more damage. For example, a zombie can be killed with one shot from a musket but needs two shots from a blunderbuss. So don't attack a boss with one unless you want to lose everything in your inventory. On the other hand, the blunderbuss fires a scattershot like a shotgun, making it VERY deadly at close range.

The blunderbuss shot is pretty easy to make and comes out in multiples so a lot more efficient than some types of arrows. The crafting goes like this:
