Summary
These are the only mobs that can destroy blocks. They smash with a level of strength that varies according to each type of Ogre. The Ogres are twice the size of the player, and are very dangerous. However they can quickly be killed with a bow and arrow at a safe distance or taken on rather easily with a simple sword as long as you have a good location to do so at and make sure to keep moving backwards or jumping backwards too seems to work alright. Be wary of collateral damage. But if you are hit by one be prepared to run for your life since most of the time it's to dangerous to risk a second hit almost always killing you.

Be wary of collateral damage inflicted upon the terrain; a hole in the ground could prove deadly should you get caught in it with low health, and so would a broken wall of your house. Critical hits should be absolutely be attempted to quickly finish the fight. Keep a wary eye on your health bar, since Ogres pack quite a solid punch, even through armor.

>To lessen the danger of Ogres in your housse, build it out of Basalt, as Ogres can not destroy it. However make sure you place it down far enough that they can't get underneath your wall and destroy your floor if the floor is made of another material and subsequently destroy any chests or objects you have placed. Any object that is "dropped" on the ground can be destroyed permanently by an Ogre.

*Marble also works in place of Basalt. Basalt Cobblestone has not been tested to be Ogre proof, only the refined form after being put through a furnace.

All Ogres

Summary[]

Ogres are large mobs introduced into the Yogbox by the Mo' Creatures mod, and they have a rather nasty ability; they can destroy blocks. They smash with a level of strength that varies according to each type of Ogre and that can be edited by through the Mo' Creatures GUI. Ogres are twice the size of the player, and are very dangerous due to their long reach. However they can be quickly dispatched with a bow and arrow at a safe distance or taken on with a sword, as long as the player keeps his wits about him, or at least the high ground.

Ogres spawn at night, and seem to do so more often around villages. They often accompanied by a Werewolf or other mobs, including other Ogres. They will also spawn randomly around the world in the same fashion or on their own.
